This always makes me so mad because that storyline basically ended after cos (except two tiny mentions in ootp and hbp) and JKR could have done so much more with it.
Give me Ginny facing a boggart for the first time in DADA and Tom Riddle appears, young and handsome, whispering “you’re mine.” Maybe some of her classmates think it’s funny assuming it’s an ex or maybe some realize who it is and freak out.
Give me Ginny talking to Harry about how it feels having Voldemort in your head and not being able to get him out. How it feels having a part of him inside of them (“pouring a little of my soul back into her” and horcrux obviously).
We know that Moody (Crouch Jr, really) used the Imperio curse on students. But I think it’s entirely possible the Carrows also did that since they wanted people to practice Crucio on first-years. Either way, it’s Ginnys turn and she’s like no way and she’s so fucking good at fighting it and throwing it off because she promised herself no one would ever use her like that ever again
Also what about Ginny opening the chamber of secrets in DH to get the basilisk fangs because she remembers? Ron and Hermione tell her about how they can’t destroy the cup, and she takes them down there, hissing the words Tom Riddle made her say so many times…. I feel like that would be much better than what we got.
OH Ginny opening the Chanber would’ve made soooo much sense and probably would’ve been good for her personal healing - using the basilisk to destroy Tom, ughhh come on JKR

Orcs prefer foods that are readily available (whatever can be had by raiding), and portable with little preparation, though they have a few racial delicacies. Toughs strips of lean meat, bones scavenged from recent kills, and dark coarse bread make up the bulk of common orc rations.Fire roasted rothe femur (marrow is a rare treat) [beef femur], Strips of dried meat (of unknown origin) [homemade goose jerky], foraged nuts, only edible by orcs….nut cracker tusks [brazil nuts], coarse black bread, made with whatever grains can be pillaged [black sesame bread], Pungent peppers [Habanero peppers stuffed with smoked fish and olives].

Pan fried Delimbyr smelt, spiced goat cheese (paprika crusted hand pressed Fontina), Gnome shortbread (savory pistachio), glass travel jar filled with Secomber Red (wine), hard boiled quail eggs packed in rolled oats (to keep safe), dried figs from Calimshan, and Southwood smoked goat sausage (blood sausage).

Lizardfolk are known to be omnivores, forage for a surprising variety of foods found within the confines of their marshy environs, in this case the Lizard Marsh near Daggerford. Fresh caught boiled Delimbyr Crayfish on wild chives, coastal carrageen moss entrapping estuary brine shrimp (irish moss, dried brine shrimp), Brackish-Berries (blackberries), Blackened Dart-Frog legs (frog legs) on spring sprouts (clover sprouts), roasted bog bugs on a stick!
